The ForestSafe Approval mechanism can be enabled to send emails. Sending them greatly enhances the day to day efficiency of the service.
If you plan to use the ForestSafe Approval Layer, enable this mechanism, and ensure your Active Directory user accounts are up to date with email addresses.
To enable ForestSafe Express to send emails
1. Launch the Control Panel and select the Advanced panel.
2. Launch Global Settings configuration
3. Select the Common settings
4. Set these fields
- Set Approval notifications Emails enabled to YES
- Set Email Sender address as appropriate
- Set SMTP server IP Address as appropriate
