Here is an example Import file. This is documented in the Importing computers reference section.
Import files can contain comments like this // and also white space. If the Import file contains an item that is using an SSHKEY connection, at least one SSH Key must exist or the import will give a warning a fail to run.
To import from a file
18. Select the [File] button in Source
19. Click the [Import] button
20. Use the File browser the pick your import file.
21. Wait for the Import to complete.
22. Click the [Validate] button
23. Wait for the Validation to complete.
24. Click the [Save] button (only enabled if there are NEW items)
25. Wait for the Save to complete.
While the Import is idle, you can double click any [import result] and the import log pops as shown here
The log file keeps grows through the life of the import as every stage.
