The use of this control is shown in context in many video tutorials. Here’s a good one to start: Configure Remote Terminal
The End Users are your staff members, , who will be able to access the System to retrieve passwords of your Managed Privileged Accounts and to get Remote Access automatically to any systems you have configured for access.
On the left hand side there is a list of Active Directory Groups.
On the right hand side there is a Tab Control with 3 tab selections Members, Privileged Accounts and General Functions.
Standard Active Directory Groups display only the Member Tab. Once the Group is promoted to be a ForestSafe Logon, all 3 tabs will appear.
Whichever Group is selected in the left hand panel, is always reflected in the right hand panel/s.
When the currently selected Group changes, if the Members Tab is selected, then the Members list will show all member of that selected Active Directory group. If that group has a ForestSafe Logon and the General Functions Tab is selected the Groups choices for General Functions is displayed.
In addition the Members tab acts as an audited replacement for the Active Directory Users and Computers control.
Users and computers can be joined or un-joined from ANY group by clicking the Join and Unjoin buttons.
User account joins are normally carried out to give staff access to ForestSafe. Computer account joins are used as the building blocks for Access Control Containers
