ForestSafe requires Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 or 2012 server operating system.
We recommend a 3 tier HA installation for Enterprise and Enterprise Rental. Both single tier and dual tier (HA atandby tier) are supported. Loading balancing of IIS may be achieved using multiple instances of the ForestSafe Web application and a DNS switch
ForestSafe Express requires a single server. HA and IIS load balancing is not available. In reality with the advent of virtual servers, standby server installations are becoming redundant.
Unix only enterprises require a Windows 2008 R2 Domain server as a minimal configuration
